Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well! Today I have a post for you about my morning shake I have everyday during the week! I try to make these shakes as healthy and flavorful as possible while also filling me up. So here is what I put in:
Here are the ingredients I usually put in but they sometimes can fluctuate depending on what I have on hand.
- A big handful of spinach
- Half of a banana
- Half of an avocado
- A few strawberries
- A handful of blueberries
- A scoop of plain greek yogurt
- A few pieces of frozen pineapple
- A little bit of water
So the best thing to do is to put the spinach in first and then pile it on top, this helps with mixing and really breaks everything down.
Now for the blender I use, I have a ninja and I have both the larger pitcher as well as the single serve blade, this works the best for whether its for a few people or just for me.
Now if it is a really busy day I will head to the store and pick up an Odwalla juice, these are delicious as well as nutritious filled with many fruits and vegetables! Now I know there is often a good amount of sugar in these as well but for me its a perfect start to the day as well as can be a quick and easy lunch!
So the Ninja I believe runs around $100 depending where you get it as well as what size you get. I previously had the early version of the magic bullet as well as many other cheaper blenders and they never worked as well as the Ninja! This thing is so worth the money, it will emulsify everything you put in even ice cubes and the frozen fruit. It makes for your morning smoothie to be as quick and easy as possible while still giving you all the nutrients! Hope you all find this helpful and try it out soon!
