Recently I decided to try the “Sweat” app. This is basically a workout app that gives you full workouts to complete, they are based off of your stage of beginner, intermediate, etc. And also off of what it is you are trying to achieve by working out. I did a 7 day free trial, here are my thoughts below!
Pricing – I think that the 7 day free trial is worth a try. (Definitely set a reminder so if you don’t like the app you can cancel before you are charged.)
It’s $19.99 a month or $54.99 for 3 months. I don’t think that is too bad considering you can do most of these workouts from home and trainers are WAY more expensive than that.
Intensity – I did the intermediate workouts and let me tell you, they are TOUGH. I am pretty athletic but have worked out a few times a week recently and these were so difficult.
So definitely try the beginner workouts first. I was sore for 5 days.
Type of workout – These are circuit based workouts and you have two circuits made of four exercises each and then you go through those twice. I did love the set up of the workouts and it made them goby quick and was easy to follow.
Overall – I think that this is an awesome app, I wont be continuing because I do pay for a gym membership, but I think if you feel lost at the gym this is a great app for you. Super organized and easy to follow, the setup of the workouts in circuits is also great and the price is fair and low for basically a personal trainer. Definitely recommend!
